Summary for 1.4362
In response to the highly volatile alloy surcharges of the classic austenite steel grades, we were the first manufacturer on the German market for stainless steel reinforcements to apply for a national technical approval by DIBt (Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik) for the much more cost-effective lean duplex material 1.4362. We are proud of pioneering this approach, since duplex materials are now virtually indispensable in the construction industry.
Cold-worked reinforcement steel in material 1.4362 falls under category B500A NR and has the tensile high strengths (>800 MPa) and yield strengths (>700 MPa) typical of cold-worked duplex steels as well as ductility class A. The material 1.4362 has been classified in corrosion resistance class 3 by the Federal Institute for Materials Testing (BAM) in Berlin.
Since 2007, our cold-worked stainless steels in material 1.4362 in diameters 6-12mm have been approved by the DIBt under approval number Z-1.4-228 and is continuously monitored by the MPA (Materialprüfungsamt) NRW. To this day, we are the only manufacturer of cold-worked stainless steel reinforcements in material 1.4362 with a German national technical approval.
